There Are Several Types Of Adjustments We Use To Make You Feel Better.
- Diversified in which the patient will be asked to lie down either on his or her back or stomach so that the doctor can center in on the troublesome area and apply gentle pressure to relieve the misalignment (subluxation).
- Gonstead in which the patient will be asked to lay on his or her side so the doctor can apply gentle pressure on the joint to relieve the misalignment (subluxation). Typically, this technique is used for low back pain.
- Thompson Drop in which the patient lies on his or her stomach. The doctor applies gentle pressure on the troublesome area while releasing a segment of the table.
- Activator Therapy in which a small instrument is used to apply a quick but gentle pressure to the target area using a chiropractic tool.
- Trigger Point Therapy in which gentle hand pressure is applied to the affected muscle(s).
